Poor video quality and shaky cam. Can't understand how you can "wet" your pants seeing that.
It called a live footage.
Yea? I've seen live footage from other sources like Gameranx that is shaky but clear and not something that looks like a spy shot filmed by a drunk camel.
The beginning part looks like crysis - the first mission :D
This game is insanely HUGE!! - http://www.youtube.com/watc...
Looks very similar to AmrA II only with some tagged on features. Technically Arma/ArmaII was a great game, but it was alsmot too big and open. Its great for the hardcore shooter community, but I'd like to see some more emphasis on multiplyer, this should be an MMO FPS, the scale and varity is there, it would be brilliant if they could somehow work in massive multiplayer battles in the game and make it accessable. (I knwo there are communities with 100+ battle servers but its not very accessable and the whole thing is modded to high heavan to get it to work).
Really looking forward to this game. My PC couldn't run the previous games but upgrading for bf3. Always been a fan of the realistic shooters and the open setting of this makes it a day 1 buy for me.
WTF is a Commanche helicopter doing in an ARMA game? I know they're trying to jump a head a little and feature some of the so called future weapons but, well, the Commanche has no future. It was canceled a long time ago. Heck, they might as well throw a F23 Blackwidow in there while they're at it. That canceled stealth fighter looks a lot cooler than the F22.
They have old Bi-planes and civilian planes, WW1 plane, whats the big deal?
I was thinking the exact same thing. Still i've always loved the Commanche since Jungle Strike on the Megadrive. I'm happy it's there. It's a sexy aircraft.
Been playing Arma2 a bit, its great but could use a lot of optimization for the code. The game is still really heavy to run and AI, Graphics and open world don't really do justify the requirements. So I seriously hope they have improved the engine. Games such as battlefield could easily do some hardcore adjustments to increase the realism and still run and look better than Arma2. But due to their more "casual" approach Arma is still really lacking any serious competition. All that said Arma3 looks pretty good, hopefully it doesn't require super PC to run.
