Hehehe bewbs

On a related note, I can't wait for this game and hopefully it will run well on the 360.

I have to admit this looks good. I wouldn't mind a PS3 version of this.

rabidpancakeburglar2687d ago

So would I but I'll have to just get it on my 360

duplissi2687d ago

as would i considering its my go to console, but hey i have a 360 for a reason right?

cant wait though.

Bigpappy2687d ago

Looks good, but they should not release in the fall. Hope the gameplay matches the graphics.

starchild2687d ago

It's about what I expected -- a clear downgrade in most areas, but still retaining the overall look of the original game. They have done a great job and it will be a very nice looking game relative to other console games.

The textures are lower resolution and the lighting and effects are less advanced, but it still keeps the basic look and atmosphere of the PC version.

If you don't have a decent gaming PC this should be a great way to experience one of the best RPGs of all time.

Ranshak2687d ago

All that while costing more lol, i got the PC vesion for 36usd from D2D.

MintBerryCrunch2687d ago

the detail in the faces is pretty damn good if you ask me...would love to see a video of the action and how it holds up in real time

Falaut2687d ago (Edited 2687d ago )

I'm a little jealous I'm not gonna lie. That's some serious magic "downgrading" a top PC title down to a split 512mb system (split in the sense that its scalable). Kudos to you Xbox.

pr0digyZA2687d ago

You must remember though in their dev diary (engine) they said how even though it's a good looking game on PC it was no where near where it could have been had they done it fully, they just knew from the get go that it was supposed to be scalable for current consoles. So imagine if they made a true PC exclusive.

Megaton2687d ago

Ah, the Crysis 2 treatment. That's unfortunate, although I haven't heard any complaints yet from my Steam buddies who have been playing Witcher 2.

pr0digyZA2687d ago

There shouldnt be complaints because it was made for PC first, its just that they knew they couldn't overdo it with the graphics because of their future plans, which is quite insane to think it could have looked even better on PC.

PandaJenkins2687d ago

Apparently they are going for the medium level of graphics that the PC has. But that being said is pretty darn impressive for them to pull off on the 360.

WetN00dle692687d ago (Edited 2687d ago )

I thought i heard it was high settings. I could be wrong though. Either way it looks amazing!

caboose322687d ago

No, even high on pc takes a pretty high end computer to run. Medium sounds about right, but it still looks great.

pr0digyZA2687d ago (Edited 2687d ago )

I think it will have certain things on high other things on medium. My 8800 GTX could play this thing max with only ubersampling and SSAO turned off.

caboose322687d ago

Yea I have a GTS 250 and was playing on 1920x1080, very high settings with uber and SSAO off and it ran decent. A lot of places like the forest and the ghost battle absolutely KILLED my pc though. It's a good thing that this game doesn't need a high frame rate to play. Anyways it still looks pretty good on xbox. But in a video I watched there weren't really any blur effects or motion blur and Geralt's hair wasn't moving when he ran, wonder why.

pr0digyZA2687d ago

That means they have taken off DO limit, which is strange as I didn't think that was a huge hit to hardware. My one probably ran better than your GTS 250 because im at 1680x1050 so there was no hit at all even in forest. They might lower the resolution to below 1080p for xbox to help with other settings I assume.
