Creed is Good

The hype is warranted. From their time with Assassin's Creed, Screen Play would not be surprised if it is game of the year. They spent a gripping day last week playing the game and chatting to effervescent Creative Director, Patrice Desilets.

Patrice says there are two elements to Assassin's Creed - the formal missions and "the toy".

When Screen Play finally grabbed the joypad, they could instantly understand what Patrice was talking about. Whether leaping across rooftops, scaling the heights, swan diving from towers or just annoying innocents by barging into them, knocking over their market stalls and causing them to drop items like pots, Assassin's Creed is enormous fun to just tool around with.

this game blow uncharted out of the water any day better grap[ics a 30hr game and hundreds of characters at the screen at 1 time uncharted is garabge run and gun shooter dont compare it to game of the year cause it has no chance

Personally, I think GOTY is going to be between this and Mass Effect. They are the only two games I'm excited enough about that I'm buying them on day one. Usually I wait a few weeks to snatch them on the cheap online, or just rent them, but these two have stolen my lunch money for sure.

Edit: Somebody obviously doesn't think this game is all that good. We ALL got disagrees, hahaha!

Snukadaman4867d ago

Some of us are already getting need too hype it up anymore homie....and it wasnt me that disagree'd.

i have been sold on this game since 2006 when i first heard of it .... i really really really really really really really really want this game lol

This game looks awesome. I'm looking forward to trying out this style of stealth in a game.

believe it or not, but I'm interested to see the final results and reviews. Not really my type of action game. I need loads of blood, limbs, screams, and gore (GoW, HS, Conan, Manhunt, the Darkness) to go along with it and from what I've seen this game is heavy on the stealth and escapist tactics, but not high on the bloodletting-onslaught of an "invincible hero". Ya know? I know a ton of you love it, but I'm definitely outside looking in on this one; hopefully, I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Can't wait for PS3vs.360 screen comparisons - what a *fun day that will be. <------------sarcasm

sanderFVCKINcohen4867d ago (Edited 4867d ago )

Why do people like gore games....ex Manhunt(THE WEAKEST AZZ GAME EVER). The only game ill like playing with gore in it is GoW...thats it. Limbs, bloody, and screamss??? how is that fun????

Panthers4867d ago

It adds a lot of satisfaction to the game. Watching a body fall over does not do much, but watching blood pour out and limbs fly is... well... its just fantastic! Gives you a warm fuzzy feeling ya know?

Maddens Raiders4867d ago (Edited 4867d ago )

everyone's opinions? I am expressing my opinion and bias towards games with blood and violence, and please don't forget about the gore =]. Are you implying that because I play games like [that] or watch movies like [that], then somehow (in your view) I'm inclined to behave like Jefferey Dahmer? Is it really? Because if so then that's just (((sad)))

Again, this game looks good (not as good compared to Drake's) but the content/theme is the area that turns me off: run, hide, sneak, attack, run, hide, sneak do something mechanical, sneak, attack, run, hide, perform puzzle and beat, sneak, do something mechanical, run, hide attack........ Make sense?

sanderFVCKINcohen4867d ago

but, that does not make sense, cuz Assasins Creed is much more than hide, sneak, attack, mechanical or whatever you stated.

I guess if gore's is your fetish than check out the latest version of Soldier of fortune.

Anyway back to the topic. AC looks nice and hopefully it should deliver on the hype. Keeping fingers crossed for positive reviews.
