Need For Speed: The Run E3 Preview - PlayStation LifeStyle

It's nice to see them putting a storyline back in the Need For Speed games.

No it will be on PS3 and Xbox 360 for sure. Probably 3DS and Wii as well.

I think it's a terrible idea to have a story in Need for Speed. You are racing for money and to win, what more of a story do you need in a racing game?

They need to stop that and stick with what would work, a huge cross country race with angry and quite violent police on your ass, racers that also try to take you out, natural disasters would be cool too. An random bad storm...fallen trees, or even...THE BRIDGE IS OUT!!!

Let me add that I have enjoyed NFS since the first one, and the games were fine till they started with the silly stories.

Getting out of the car seems stupid in theory but I guess it works?

It does, they're short (at least, the ones in the E3 demo), and when I asked they told us that all the out of car sequences will be QTE, and it's a very small portion of the game.

This game is easily the best looking multiplatform racing games...thanks to Frostbite 2.0 engine.

I was very impressed by the graphics in the PS3 demo
