what's to prevent sickos from scaning themselves in naked?

I bet weiners all over live is ok..

captain-obvious5136d ago (Edited 5136d ago )

just finished watching xbox's E3

it was good
not the best in the world tho

disappointing that it was all about kinect
like 95%

kinect did evolve to a better hardware BUT still replace able like with ME3 why no use my headset only ??
its a cool thing tho but i dont want to buy kenect

Ubisoft showed A shooter
the menu thing was good Yet replaceable too
the shooting was just pew pew pew lol

kinect had lag in some games and slow paced
fable as a slow FPS was just a stab in my heart

that football guy screaming was EPIC made me lol as i never did

minecraft on 360 = win BUT only on kinect = Epic fail and still better on PC
heck and PC can run mine craft

COD at start looked like MW2
even had the same pause menu and graphics

Halo 4 at the end was the best part
thats all about it

but there was nothing thw gave me a "WOW"

That is the thing about the third party kinect. Is it enough to make people go I need a Kinect. It does cater for the people who have it but for new customers is it enough. I say no. Voice chat is great but nothing game changing and the rife selection is more novitey

NoobJobz5136d ago

Buy? Which part do yo have to pay for?

Simon_Brezhnev5136d ago (Edited 5136d ago )

hell nobody clapped for him when presenting this.

LMFAO @ fishy

iamnsuperman5136d ago

was it me or was the object capture select area the same as the object. Finally here but something odd there

fluffydelusions5136d ago (Edited 5136d ago )

TBH if I were a core 360 gamer I'd be pretty upset over all this. Everything seems Kinect related and designed for casuals and little kids.

Simon_Brezhnev5136d ago (Edited 5136d ago )

Hell if Sony does this 2 i will quit console gaming and go full time PC.

@mrv321
Yeah i know im just saying if they ever lose their focus.

mrv3215136d ago

C'mon it's Sony... they'll show you actually core games.

Kon5136d ago

I'm very upset. I didn't expected this.

Rainstorm815136d ago (Edited 5136d ago )

Ive been saying this since last year, it is indeed a sad day to be a 360 gamer...unless Kinect is your thing...

But i must admit Sesame street looks good for kids (my daughter is an elmo fanatic), and Kinect Fun Labs is the smartest thing announced for Kinect its going to make the games better in the long run.

Edit

OH and of course for us "core gamers" Gears 3 and Forza 4 doent look bad at all and im a GT guy. OH yea and the Halo 4 reveal was BADASS.

Kinect Fun Labs - A Wasted Opportunity

James Steel writes -
"Kinect Fun Labs is certainly case of promise vs. reality. Announced at E3 2011, the new application promised fun, quirky, experimental side projects that aimed to show off unique ideas and concepts for the Kinect. While some of that may be true, there’s definitely potential for so much more. The unfortunate reality has resulted in paid-for widgets that are pretty shallow. While I’m not going to argue that I haven’t had fun with the current offerings such as Googly Eyes, Build a Buddy and Air Band, it’s far from what the service should have been.

Imagine of the Kinect Fun Labs application was much more open, just like the Indie Games platform, allowing developers to release free or cheap experimental applications for Kinect gamers to play. There’s certainly been a huge influx of Kinect titles recently, more so with ‘Kinect features’, but there’s nothing quite like community projects."
