Destructoid - Hunted: The Demon's Forge Review

Destructoid - The last time inXile graced the world with a console roleplaying was with The Bard's Tale back in 2004. Since then, the studio has been quietly working away on a number of mobile games, so it's certainly interesting to see the company return to full-scale RPGs after making games like Super Stacker, Super Stacker 2 and Super Stacker Party.

For what?

Reviewers don't generate controversy by giving a game that's getting 5-7 average in other reviews a 6.5.

Edit: That reply button surely didn't work.

What a fucking asshole loser troll Jim Sterling is, He gave a once in a lifetime masterpiece The Witcher 2 a 6/10 and Hunted: The Demon's Forge which is just another generic RPG with half naked chicks a 6.5/10 to mock the furious The Witcher 2 fans. Just shows how serious he is about reviewing games and how fucking morons are Metacritic and Gamerankings to consider his reviews legit. Everything is fucked up only Player response matters in the end.

I remember he gave Alpha Protocol something like a 2 or a 3. That game was easily an 8 or a 9 in my book. He's probably the worst reviewer out there today. Makes me wonder how I'm not in the business yet with the constant crap these people are churning out.

kancerkid2692d ago

He is not the only person who gave Alpha Protocol a 2 or 3.

So he has to conform to what you think of the game and everyone should think its awesome just because you do?

Theres something called opinion and everybody has one, get used to it.

And a reviewer is nothing but a paid opinion and if you take their recommendation to buy a game or to not buy a game your a fool anyway.

I'm 1hr away from finish a single plyr hunted.
It's no 6.5 in my book. More like 8/10.

It's fun, has a style to it...lent from Lotr but still nice. Graphics are great...but aftr you hit ch3 it's much better. And coop works well. Crucible allows for more play...but I never get why you'd want to. I play RPGs for the story...even average stories like hunted. Why play just to play? The mechanics aren't that good that you'd want to play over and over. Their decent enough though.

Slightly better than average game with coop. maybe 7/10 lol
