and person still bitching about PSN free games =/

BeOneWithTheGun4312d ago

Just got Dead Nation and Infamous. All I need to plat Infamous is 35 more High Fall takedowns, 6 more special move things and choose the Dr. over my girl on that one mission. Gotta get it done before Tuesday damnit!

saladthieves4312d ago

I suggest you look up a guide on ps3trophies.org. The hardest trophy in the game (in my opinion) is stunt master.

hakis864312d ago (Edited 4312d ago )

I think it's a good deal. Only bad thing for me is I had already purchased those games, and movies are not availible in my country so.... really all I'm getting is PSN+.
:-/

Nice avatar chidori666, I love Rukia Kuchiki too! :P

MintBerryCrunch4313d ago

just got D/L Deadnation...next up Infamous

256bit4312d ago

i got all five games including rachet and clank from my UK account. seriously i think everyone should of made a account from EU and JP then you could be happy with its free games.

Oner4312d ago (Edited 4312d ago )

Actually you should have 7 with the EU Burnout Paradise offer. ;P

US
Dead Nation
inFAMOUS
LittleBigPlanet
Super Stardust HD
Wipeout HD + Fury

EU
Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty
Burnout Paradise

But you can actually get even more because the German market offers different games as well ~

"InFamous and Dead Nation will be replace with Super Stardust HD and Hustle Kings in the selection of PS3 games. Pursuit Force and Killzone Liberation will be replaced with Everybody’s Golf 2 and Buzz Junior Jungle Party in the selection of PSP games"

And all of this still doesn't include what the HK & JP markets will offer!

hotrider124312d ago

QUEST FOR BOOTY
is on a disc. @play-asia.com bought it 3 years ago.

Oner4312d ago (Edited 4312d ago )

@ Above hotrider12 ~ Don't know how that equates to what me & 256bit are talking about so...

@ Below Istanbull ~ I also never owned Infamous or LBP. But it's not to being cheap. It's because there were so many games to choose from and dedicate time to, so why buy something right then and there? Especially when I just now get the ones I needed/didn't have yet for free!

Also if you already bought them then the Welcome Back package wouldn't be so great now would it? You also forget that maybe they were titles that people weren't to interesting in playing but now they are, because they are free.

Plus what if a person couldn't get them because of financial issues? Does that mean they are cheap? No. Not at all...but the way you make it seem is very tactless and immature.

Istanbull4312d ago

How could you not own LBP or Infamous in the past? Are you a cheap a$$?

Urrakia344312d ago

Some of us don't exactly have alot of money to spend on games and so that limits our libraries.

DarthJay4312d ago

Nothing says "hey sorry someone stole all your personal information" quite like a free digital download of Bad Boys. Weak.

Janitor4312d ago

You sound like the kind of person who bitches about not getting enough food stamps.

DarthJay4312d ago

You sound like the type of person who is OK with having their personal information stolen. Getting a free movie I don't want or a super sweet theme drawn on Microsoft Paint doesn't restore the confidence I never had in Sony.

And for the record, I'm not even advocating getting anything free.

This is a PR move as they attempt to not get sued, and all the lemmings are getting in line.

Wow. Ghostbusters. Really thoughtful. Why not throw up Big Trouble in Little China too? Or maybe a Milli Vanilli album.

dantesparda4312d ago

Well said Janitor, and stop complaining DarthJay. People will complain about anything!

Oner4312d ago (Edited 4312d ago )

Lemmings? Whatever /rollseyes...I too may care for the movies being offered (not that I don't like them it's just not worth me d/l'ing them). But big F'ing deal.

Actually if they would have offered Big Trouble in Little China as one of them I would have been happy! How could you not like that movie? It's damned near a cult classic!

bodybombs4312d ago

@darthjay

hey man, dont dis big trouble in little china, kurt russell's the man

They didn't have to do anything. They could of just fixed the security breach and then resumed life. They choose to offer millions of endusers free games, HOME items and PLUS.

That was a nice gesture IMO.

Urrakia344312d ago

Go buy an Xbox. If it makes you feel better & "safer" by paying $60 a year, be my guest.

OneSneakyMofo4312d ago

While he's at it, he can go to Hotmail.com, have the spammers keylog his credit card inforation, passwords, etc., then blame it on Sony sooner or later.

People that complain about their personal information being stolen are dumb, plain and simple. The minute you sign up for something, your information is in a database. That database is not 100% secure and never will be. Don't think you are safe because they say so. This is why it's recommended that you change your password every 60 days.

mindedone4312d ago

@DarthJay

You should've made this comment in the forums like I did; it might've been received better

kikizoo4312d ago

The dumb xfan complaining for things he can't get, is just forgetting than google gmail last week, and thousands of shops..or even cia are hacked sometime, with more "personnal informations" stolen (because on psn, you just have what you can find easily in telephone's books)

Bgibbs4312d ago

@DarthJay

You do realize that all the information they got is widely available to anyone who chooses to go an look for it, right? If you've ever signed up for a magazine subscription, or ordered anything online, that information is available. So don't make it seem like you're a victim of identity theft, because you aren't. You're just a victim of spam mail, just like the rest of the world.

DarthJay4311d ago

I'm not a victim of anything but wasting $300 on a product I don't use. My PS3 collects dust. But hey, then again, I've waisted more money on stuff I've used less.

I don't even give a crap about the free stuff. That's the part you fan girls don't get. There's no excuse for what happened, and it is hilarious to see the way the lemmings get in line with their hands out and let them get away with it. I mean, people are actually citing the fact that other organizations get hacked as an acceptable reason for the PSN to be down for as long as it was and to have millions of credit card numbers compromised? Spin it any way you want to, it's unacceptable.

PR move, plain and simple. Not hard to throw a bunch of old crap out there and say "here, have this free." Who is going to buy inFAMOUS brand new right now? But wait, inFAMOUS 2 comes out Tuesday? Hey, what a coincidence. Nothing to lose, everything to gain. The only one losing money on the free games is Gamestop.

Keep drinking the Kool-Aid folks.

I got all 5 games, I have like 10 PSN's so I feel well compensated considering I hardly if ever used PSN.
