Better be classic Kirk/Spock, not shaky camera JJ Abrams style...

It will probably be a Dead Space clone

what does coming to consoles have anything to do with it not being the classics. I don't even fully understand your post. But oops you only have 1 bubble so ill try and give you 1 :)

It's new Kirk/Spock. I don't mind that but I do hope we get a good classic universe game. The early 90s had great Star Trek: TOS games, especially the point and click games which were super faithful to the originals (and that's what made them so great IMO).

Why does Spock have a plasma rifle from Halo?

nilamo2697d ago

Lol yeah it almost looks like an exact replica.

Why can't it just be Bridge Commander?

That is quinto and pine :(

Star Trek games shouldn't be action games, Star Trek wasn't about that. Sure, have some action oriented scenes in away missions with cover to cover phaser fire etc., but the game's focus should be on exploration, diplomacy, strategy etc.

Kind of like Mass Effect meets LA Noire with space battles and some civ-ish elements.

Pintheshadows2697d ago

That is why I wish that someone would just make a new Brigde Commander. Anyway have a bubble.

BlackTar1872697d ago

Yea i agree with you on that. Any good ideas to make something like that coop?

i just hope there isn't some super acrobat stuff you get to pull of in this or super slow shots or anything like that.

The last Star Trek game I bought was Elite Force for the PS2. I look forward to this but I hope it is not an movie tie in.
