E3 2011: DC Universe Online - Ra's al Ghul in Action

Last week IGN brought you the full rundown of DC Universe Online's next update. It packs Bat-villain Ra's al Ghul, a new alert, a new Duo and a Swamp Thing/Poison Ivy event for the MMO. But words only do so much, and that's why we've got the video below that offers your first glimpse of Ra's in action.

I was thinking about buying this on steam! looks ok but this seems to only be ps3 updates soo never mind then..

I love this game.. I have played a lot of MMO's and this one is a great take on the genre. And since your just now adopting you will have plenty of content to mess around with.

I would recommend a controller though

Is this DC Universe Online or Batman Universe ? What the hell

ChronoJoe4709d ago (Edited 4709d ago )

Half of it is gotham, half metropolis... lot of batman, lot of superman, justice league stuff.

Fun game though. I might resub.

I get what hes saying. All of the updates thus far have been on the Batman side of things. There haven't been any new villains for the Superman/Wonder Woman story arch since launch.

I thought DCUO was a boring game.

Planning on ordering this on Friday. Think I'll use the free month then just pay £10 per month until I get bored, don't want to buy a 3 month or 6 month subscription in case I get bored straight away. Updates like these will keep me interested but I want my mentor to be the Green Lantern goddammit!!!

MMOs In 2021 Retrospective: Console Edition

WTMG's Thomas Medina: "As far as I’m concerned, console MMOs have always been in a weird place. PC is where the main game is most popular. MMOs were born there, work best there, and have the vast majority of titles. Mobile is then next in line, with touchscreens and portability that adds something new while functioning well. Console gaming, on the other hand, is not portable (for the most part). Plus, it uses a controller, which is not the best instrument when your control scheme requires a thousand buttons and a cursor. That being said, there is an audience, and where there’s money to be made, publishers find a way. So here we are with some of the biggest console MMO games and how I feel they handled 2021. "

Best Superhero Video Games Available Right Now

From Xfire: "A lot of video games are designed to make players feel like a superhero. However, very few actually feature superheroes or have players take on the role of a superhero. What makes this even worse is that there are even fewer superhero video games that can be considered good."
