Nvidia Kal-El quad Tegra runs Lost Planet 2

Microsoft showcased Windows 8 running HD video at its Computex press conference but that presentation was less impressive than the one we are about to share with you.

Here is Kal-El reference tablet running Lost Planet 2, one of the latest games and all this is running on a 40 inch full HD screen.

This is what a quad core and twelve graphics cores are capable of and Kal-El will come to market most likely as Tegra 3 as early as August.

Enjoy the video below.

Windows 8???? What the hell, are we going to get a new Windows every year or two now?

Windows was released ever 2 years until Windows XP came along as we had from Windows 95, 98, 98se, ME then XP so this is noting new but windows 8 looks like windows 7 with a new skin so it is ready for touch screen devices and tablets.

Nice cant wait to get a netbook with it.

Yeah its crazy maybe Microsoft will go the route of call of duty and release a new os every year. Kidding but still i wasn't expecting 8 so soon.

Looks good, but the Lost Planet NGP demo looked alot better. Everything in this demo was scaled down alot.

Windows 8 is coming soon because Microsoft needs it as soon as possible. They need to come up with a viable option for the tablet market and it seems Windows 7, as good as it is as a PC OS, just doesn't cut it in the tablet market. I'd expect a longer development cycle for Windows 9, but like I said, MS didn't have a choice for W8.
