I got the turtle beach Px5 and they rock!

My girl picked those up about 3 weeks ago took em back the next day. She planned to use em for PS3/PC. The headset just could not seem to stop getting interference. The mic constantly breaking up with a crackling sound. An the headset itself had the same snap crackle and pop noise.

I wanted them to be worth it so bad. Though after what she experienced with those I won't be getting them. Cnet and others on youtube have stated the issue with the 2.4ghz getting crowded easily.

If you have a lot of 2.4ghz nearby you can get that problem, but that is with any electronic at that frequency. All you have to do is place the base a little bit high (in line of sight of the headphones) and you should be fine. I have no problems with cracking or any interference. The sound quality is awesome and the different presets are a bonus. Also it has dual bluetooth pairing, meaning you can pair it to your ps3 for chat AND your cell phone so you won't miss any calls while gaming.

It is a bit pricey but it has way more features that anything out, and it's wireless.

It's one of the best sounding wireless headsets you can buy atm, however still no match for my Onkyo 7.1 surround setup.

Astro A40s are high quality but in order to get wireless you need to buy the mixamp ($140 on top $200) and you still need to plug the headphones into the mixamp.

turtle beach makes all right headsets there are better ones out there but not the price point of turtle beach,hope its black like the last headset they made for ps3.

I'll just wait till September to get the official PS3 headset 7.1 surround sound. Just in time for BF3 and MW3.
