THQ Creative Director for WWE games Corey Ledesma was recently interviewed by the THQ website to discuss the new WWE ’12 video game.
This could be fun as they make great tables. Go big or go extinct. Prime your senses for a neural handshake and step into the cockpit of a Jaeger. It is on you to cancel the apocalypse when Pacific Rim Pinball comes to Pinball FX on May 16.
Gary Green said: We have a juxtaposition of 2D and 3D visuals, flashy turn-based combat, quirky anime characters with cheeky dialogue with plenty of partial nudity; Yes, this is a Compile Heart JRPG. Whilst the engine is borrowed from Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2, Mugen Souls is more of a Disgaea spin-off. It’s not a strategy RPG as such, it merely sits within Disgaea’s ever-expanding universe (Multiverse? Netherverse? Your guess is as good as mine). You won’t find cameos though, since Mugen Souls is a franchise which aims to stand on its own two feet.
Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."
Just about every year in the 7th generation was great and something we most likely won't experience again.
2009 for example had Assassin's Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Dragon Age: Origins, Uncharted 2, Halo 3: ODST, Killzone 2, Borderlands, Bayonetta, and Demon's Souls to name a few.
WWE 12? Could you get any less creative? Bring back Here Comes The Pain gameplay with a shitload of new "interruptable" animations and OVERHAUL the sub par graphics and this game will succeed.
svr was kinf of getting stale
... why do they keep taking moves out?
Take the Divas out. You won't let us do anything with them, and if you're SO CONCERNED with violence against them, take them out. If I can't take Victoria to the WWE championship anymore, who cares...
And concentrate on the single player mode. Act like you care!
I read tons about this last night. It looks like a evolved for of the DoR2 engine mixed with SvR. That sounds great to me.
"Momentum Shifts"
Break up any move
no "warping special moves"
no more strong/weak grapple, moves are based on the damage you inflict on your rival during the match.
All sounds great. They need better AI and targeting still, since those areas always lacked.
