Wow. Nostalgia hitting hard. Younger gamers, when this game came out the opening Hoth level had some of the best graphics ever seen lol. Along with Mario 64.
I'm not sure how we beat these bosses as kids. IG88 is a nightmare and I only beat him by cheesing. No clue how I beat Boba Fett and Xizor.
Will never forget on Christmas morning cracking open that game. Putting it on and being blown away by that Hoth level. That boss level with Boba Fett seems to stick out for me. Just awesome! The graphics were so dang good!
At the time the game was kinda hard to get I recall, along with Super Mario 64. Damn those were some good times!
Got this game ages ago for the N64 and loved it. Bought it a couple years ago on Steam for nostalgia purposes. The control scheme makes it not age well.
Had a lot of fun playing this game. There were so many codes. You could play as Wompas, stormtroopers/snowtroopers and even At-Sts on the Hoth level. Lots of good memories. I know I've said it ad nauseam but this game got me into Star Wars at a time when it just wouldn't click with me. SOTE changed everything for me. With so many Star Wars games being ported to modern consoles these days I was hopping this one would be in the cards eventually. It needs a lot of work but I'm sure it can be done.
