thq needs to do alot more then change the name if they want to help the series!

Jack-H4867d ago

Read the article on ign about it. They seem to be changing quite a lot about it. Though, I'm not going to get it lol.

Jack-H4866d ago

@starcb26

I certainly would love to toss a sewage lid like a frisbee at someone hanging from a helicopter.

slavish34866d ago

every year they do a article acting like they do something. the screens look the same as last year. my point still stands

Jack-H4866d ago (Edited 4866d ago )

I'll say it again... READ THE ARTICLE. Don't be stupid and act like you know what it says. IDC if you don't want it. I don't want it either, but don't act ignorant. Read the ign article about it THEN you can judge it. Your point is invalid because you have absolutely no knowledge of the subject.

renegade4867d ago

Who cares? Today's wrestling is crap...

Lirky4867d ago

Thq brought us saints row customizable free-roam game... I cant imagine how wwe12 will be in customizations.. some ppl who dont watch wrestling on tv may buy this game based on the character creation + fun gameplay aspects.

Urrakia344867d ago (Edited 4867d ago )

Yea customization would be nice except the fact that Saints Row is developed by Volition Inc. THQ is just the publisher. Some people really need to learn the differences between publishers and developers......

OMGitzThatGuy4867d ago

He said THQ brought us saints row which they did because they are the publisher they bring the games not develop don't try to 1 up someone

DanteKnightsTemplar4867d ago

This franchise is dead, every year they say their innovating it etc. At the end of the day, their just polishing a turd. They recycle stuff all the time. Yukes are crap devs. They making this one too?

starcb264866d ago

Didn't EA try to do this with elite and they ended up cancelling it.

Are Wrestling Games Getting Worse?

Some of you may know that the latest instalment in the WWE gaming franchise 2K20 was released late last year to generally poor reviews. Some of this was based on graphical issues, but mostly it was due to the many glitches and bugs found – many of which are hilarious to witness.

Fire Pro needs more love. The last PS4 title gets regular playtime from me.

I hear that there are financial troubles at the studio, but I'm hopeful for a Switch port one of these days.

The Wood1713d ago

Anyone remember Giant Gram Wrestling on the Dreamcast .....

Rambokind1713d ago

Ah hell yes! That was loads of fun.

Acecalibur1714d ago

Fire Pro just gets better. Buy it.

micdagoat191714d ago

I have Fire Pro for PS4 and PC but it seems more of like a Sim creator rather than people actually playing out matches. I still dont like anything as much as the N64 games

b163o11713d ago (Edited 1713d ago )

Golden Era of wrestling games in the Golden Era of wrestling. I've been contemplating going back and getting a N64 and getting those classic's
WWF Wrestlemania 2000
WWF No Mercy
WCW vs. nWo Revenge

micdagoat191710d ago

Yeah its the only wrestling games I still play consistently for fun.

TheTony3161714d ago

Yes. The last great wrestling game was svr 2006.

addictedtochaos1714d ago

Yes, the WWE ones at least. The last good one was 2K14 and the last great one was Here Comes the Pain.

6 Abominations Brought to Life by These Games' Character Creators

If Dr Frankenstein were alive today and also not fictional, he wouldn't need to faff around building a creature out of dead bodies then trudge around the Arctic trying to kill it - not when these videogame character creators exist. Just look at the unnatural horrors he could have cooked up in WWE '12, Spore, Saints Row 4, Soul Calibur 5, NBA 2K15 and The Sims 4.

Good comparison, they've got worse with age.

Thrillho3605d ago

Many of the old animations look better than the new ones especially the Sweet Chin Music and Goldberg's spear. The 2K14 Clothesline from Hell looks awesome though.
