Army of Two

Way back during the dark days of E3, Electronic Arts announced an evolutionary concept. "Why not", reasoned the development teams, "take that old popular trope of co-operative multiplayer and make a whole game out of it." Face it, Co-op mode has always been Deathmatch's little brother but, despite this, it's always been hugely popular with those who play it. The only problems have been that it's always been hard to implement and that if the AI is shoddy, the game's no good.
