GxC says: "E3 2011 is just around the corner and the gaming community is writhing with anticipation. Every year during E3, gamers around the world spend the week glued to their computer screens and TV sets a little more than usual, watching every new game trailer, every press conference, and reading all the news they can about the latest in gaming. E3 brings us gifts of new game reveals, new consoles and devices, and other surprising announcements!'
"From what we can see, June 6-9, 2011 is no doubt shaping up to be another HUGE showing. As always, all eyes will be on the big three: Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony as they face off with their conferences. Who will come out on top this year with the biggest news and most exciting showcase? Well, we don't know yet, but we can give you an idea of what to look out for throughout the event. Here's what we expect from Sony"
Sony has recruited Bungie's head of revenue Jaremy Rich to head up its live-service gaming division, Rich has announced on social media.
Please do not put Destiny’s monetization into Sony’s first party games. The monetization is what’s driving players away from Destiny.
I mean, this person made some pretty bad decisions at Bungie. I hope they've learned from them because I definitely don't see those type of ideas as good for PlaySation in general.
Ps5 gamers in 2023 seemed to play more live service types of games, so regardless to how people feel about them, numbers don’t lie and Sony is going where the money is. I mean look at the excitement around Helldivers2, people are showing that they want live service games.
How do you kill a franchise that already been killed?
Destiny’s grind, cash-in-on-playbass-cha-Ching, and pop-culture-insertion mainstream-me-too bs totally killed any rep Bungie had. Sony/Bungie, if you are doing this to ward-off players, it’s already working.
Sony has patented to add multiple dialogue modes to let players switch between how many conversations with NPCs they want in the game.
Sony is like the only ones outta the 3 that has atuff like like this pop up changing thing in ways.
Genuine Enabling Technology was seeking damages, claiming the tech allowing PlayStation consoles and controllers to communicate infringes its rights.
Sounds like patent trolling they tried the same thing against Nintendo with the same pattern.
Motion and control input traversing over higher and lower frequencies seperate from each other allowing the controller to do both
So to recoup the money Genuine is going to take on Nintendo or Microsoft next. I hate patent lawyers they are some of the worst bottom feeders out there.
Blow us away ! That's the only thing that's gonna happen
Games, services announcements, Vita, more games, a few more games, PSN breach talk, and some more games.
I want some new super exciting fresh cool Move Games.
And live on Stage Gameplay from God of War 4, Agent, Uncharted 3, The last Guradian.
only 7 more Nights to E3 !
I hope they announce a price cut too.
I expect AAA titles that are worth buying day 1, like always, but I have to admit that Im disappointed on how everything turned out. I think they are making a big mistake with the NGP. So much potential, but they just don't get the hardware market. Nintento pretty much got lucky, but they sorta messed up with the 3DS too. It could have been much bigger than Apple but they are retarded. I love E3, but I've been disappointed since the beginning of this gen. I just hope they fix it with the next gen consoles, omg i cant wait. Things should seem normal. Hopefully Nintendo can make next gen come sooner than latter. Too much has changed since the launch of this gen.
