Duke Nukem 3D is the king of shooters. Duke Nukem the character and the games are remembered by young and old. With its great humor and amazing gameplay, Duke Nukem 3D is one of the best shooters ever made. 3D Realms was just having fun making the game and didn’t care how it turned out because they were excited to have such a fun experience with it. But when it was released back in 1996 it really exceeded there expectations and created a very memorable game. Duke 3D deserves a 10/10 in my opinion because it my expectations. The reason is that it did everything I wanted in a shooter. It isn’t like shooters now a day’s being so serious and just being made for profit with a half ass experience. You don’t get shooters like you use to get. With the story, Duke is just saving the world and one babe at a time. He is the ultimate bad ass and will kick anything’s ass that gets in his way...
Have you ever looked at a modern first-person shooter and wondered "How did we get here?" Wealth of Geeks performs a deep dive into the genre, including some of the most influential games, from the very first FPS from the cross-genre experiences that changed the game entirely.

Duke Nukem is back, as the classic FPS game Duke Nukem 3D, from the golden, PC shooter era of Doom, Quake, and Half-Life, gets a full overhaul and relaunch
Honestly happy having the Switch port. It's just nice to have Duke 3D on the go. Something I could only ever dream of back in my younger days first playing it lol.
It was blatantly inspired by Tomb Raider, but damn was it a fun and memorable game. I'm happy to say that I still have my original copy purchased back in January 2000.
Scentless....They should start making a sequel to Time to Kill immediately after the release & HUGE success (fingers crossed), of Duke Nukem Forever...I know from the gameplay footage I have seen thus far, that Forever will be added to my collection of games....It is awesome to see a developer have the guts to release a throwback type game like Duke Forever in an over crowded genre, that seems to think copycat COD's is all anybody wants, either that or trying too hard to over complicate there FPS releases, when the best bet is to take the genre back to it's core & concentrate on making the games FUN again.
I'm sick to death of all these "me-too" developers forgetting the key ingredient of FUN in there games. If I wanted to spend 55minutes crawling through fake computer grass tasting snail shit, checking wind resistance to line up the perfect shot from 2000mtrs away, I would have joined the core/army to become a sniper for real. I play games to be able to do things that are so removed from reality it's ridiculous. I want to do 5 flips through the air into a heel kick, that results in me coming down onto a zombies head, thus removing said head, then ripping one of his arms off & using the bloody limb to tee off on another 3 approaching dead-ites.
A new version of A Time To Kill with awesome new graphics, & wickedly good multiplayer online shenannigens would be a refreshing welcome to all the other good looking games on the horizon over the next 18months.
