1UP celebrates the silver anniversary of an RPG legend.
Today Square Enix made two new Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride action figures available for pre-order as part of its Bring Arts brand.
With bold framing and an epic story, Dragon Quest V asserts itself as one of the most impressive RPGs of all time.
Although ‘Dragon Quest IV’ is widely considered by many to be the franchise’s peak, it’s important to keep the context in mind.
dragon quest X should be amazing
(does this series need more love? I wouldn't call myself a fan because I really haven't played anything in this series, but I know I'll eventually will)
Well lets see...
From what I know
I-III on the Game Boy are the definitive versions
I'm not sure about IV-VI, but I plan to get the DS versions (I've been waiting for Square to reprint V, that game was inflated by private sellers all over online!)
Of course for VII-VII there's only one version, but finding VII at a good price and condition will be like hell. Also I own IX already, but i don't feel it is right to just jump in at IX (even if each installment is stand alone)
Maybe I'll go through a hunt this summer lol. since (I hope) my nostalgia levels have sky rocketed because my cousin let me borrow Chrono Cross which I never really played, I only really watched my cousin play it :3
