Video Games Gather Controversy After Being Acknowledged as an Art Form

This weekend on Fox News, a debate sparked between a Fox News employee and Brian Ambrozy, an editor at Icrontic. The debate in question was about the recent acceptance of the video game medium’s eligibility for government funding via the N.E.A. (National Endowment for the Arts).  The N.E.A. generally gives grant money to more “independent” artists, and no video game has yet to receive funding through the N.E.A. However, it’s just a matter of time before republican extremists will try to hang their hat on stopping this form of federal spending.

I think it would be an amazing thing for guidlines to be put into place to allow grants for indie devs.

I could see that being terribly abused like college grants are, so I'd only agree if the process was well supervised.
