For nearly $100, I bought into the Alan Wake launch to the largest extent I possibly could. Unfortunately, there just weren’t enough of us to bend the world in the way that Remedy needed us to. it certainly is better than i expected. The stephen king feel coupled with the twin peaks atmosphere is a great combination.

Yep, Alan Wake was brilliant, definitely one of my favourites this generation. Wish they'd port it to PC so I could play it again

I reckon they should have made it similar to the Yakuza games. Where it is sandbox but due to the size of the sandbox, it retains its story telling, allows a more lush and alive world to be created and still has some of the linear gameplay strengths!
