Hands-On Preview: Child of Eden - Electronic Theatre

The game essentially functions as a first-person version of Lylat Wars in which the player’s success (or failure) has a grand impact on the soundtrack. Enemies will enter the screen with highlighted targets, and the player must aim through the use of their arms. A lock-on function is available, or an automatic weapon that fires a constant stream of bullets, and players change between simply by clapping. Further weaponry and numerous power-ups were suggested to be available in the final game, though Electronic Theatre did not witness either of these.
