Joystiq: "If you're planning to spend the weekend with The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings -- in lieu of bracing for the impending hellfire, of course -- make sure you've got enough space on an NTFS-formatted hard drive to do it. Though the game's PC system requirements note you'll need "16GB of disc space," they don't mention you'll need that space to be on an NTFS drive."
who the hell uses FAT anyway?
LOL like anyone is still using FAT on their home computer that would be remotely good enough to run this game anyways....
Oh noes, the 0.01% who use a FAT drive will be up in arms.
Yeah FAT has a file size limit of 4GB. Only SD cards & other flash memory cards use the FAT32 format. Also strangely the PS3 & 360 use FAT32.
You also can't install DVD rips, or any file over 4GBs. This is why nobody uses FAT anymore, not because there was a conspiracy to ruin your fun.
