Im going to rent it, I'm 99% sure the content they cut, because of the 360 version, will be DLC. I'll be waiting for the complete edition.

Grand theft Auto 4 took 2 years for the complete edition. Have fun waiting 2 years or maybe more.

My expectations were pretty high, so the game must be growing on trees!

Maybe they thought the mystery genre wouldn't blow over well?

Guess I'll be waiting awhile for the price to fall! Too many games! Just have too much on my plate and can't pick up stuff at regular price and then have it sit there in the plastic collecting dust till the game is bargain binned and I'm finally ready to play it. One day I will get around to Wipeout HD that I downloaded 1-1/2 years ago, then re-downloaded after a YLOD and haven't played yet!

This is a genre that's definitely under-nourished. It's (kinda) thriving on PC but it's still niche. This is one reason I believe Heavy Rain did so well, people love a good murder mystery/investigation game and when you add gameplay mechanics as innovative as L.A. Noire people go crazy for it.

I picked it up earlier today.. Disappointed to say the least.

I have only myself to blame though 'cause I knew I wouldn't like it. L.A Noire is a bit like marmite, some like it, some don't.

Atleast you gave it a go instead of writing sh1t about it when you haven't got it, like a lot of 'members' of n4g say.
