TGH writes: Most would agree that High Voltage Software’s 2009 Wii shooter, The Conduit, was kind of a flop. The game has its fans of course, and it wasn’t an altogether terrible attempt at a “hardcore” shooter on the Wii, but on the whole it missed the mark. I was much kinder to the original but I rented C2 and I couldn't think of any reason to keep playing. Any attempts I made to play MP resulted in finding no games. I like High Voltage and I wish they'd just make a good FPS for XBLA or PSN. Then they would get the attention they deserve.

I hate that that's true. There's no reason for the Wii to be such a lackluster platform, but developers have made it that way. There were innovative, quality games on systems long before internet and HD graphics.
