There is no such thing as professional camping. Camping is for newbs period. There no debating that. Im glad games are finding ways to get rid of campers. In MW3, they need to get rid of claymores and include a killcam. Camping problem solved

I've never really had a problem with people camping, even if it does get me a killed a few times. If I repeatedly get killed, either I need to play smarter or just plain get better, because all hiding places, no matter how good they are, can be taken. Same thing with claymores. If you repeatedly run into them, then learn to pay more attention.

I do wholeheartedly agree with killcams being a necessity, though... especially for COD. A big percentage of those maps are such a clusterf**k that it is often impossible to figure where people are located, even when they're not hiding.

Please do read my Entire article on why I used the term Professional Camping.
It not necessarily indicates newbiness. Its a type of Playstyle which when used correctly in certain game modes in Fpses can give a Tactical Advantage in Winning.
In my Article Ive even Mentioned all the things that the game Devs have been doing to make Camping feel less Nooby.
Please Read my Article fully and then feel free to comment if you donot agree with me.

I always hated the word camping. I like to play snipers, and when you are trying to snipe people, or lay a trap for them, you don't go running around all over the place and hope for the best with your 1 shot sniper rifle. You MUST hide somewhere, and wait for the perfect shot.

This is not for Newbs either, in fact you must know a lot about the area you are going to lay your trap, as well as how other players play that map and which paths are best for an ambush. This can not be done with newbs who are just starting the game. You have to really know the game and maps well to snipe efficiently.

Then some newb calls you a camper and cries and whines like a baby.

It REALLY depends on the game. If you want to camp in TF2, good freakin' luck!

Some games cater to this. Killzone allows snipers to become invisible, yet limits them in movement. They balance it out.

It's bad. There is no debate.
