Sony Marketing Executive: E3 has gone too small to care

A Sony Marketing Executive who wants to remain anonymous has voiced his concerns over the significance of E3. Talking to Reuters they said "E3 had lost its effectiveness over the past few years; it will be interesting to see if the new format will be the show's revival or its death gasp," They also said that the show had gone from "too large to get anything accomplished to too small to care."

E3 is perfect now, no more retards from EB/GameStop who managed to get themselves tickets clogging up the place with their pathetic attempts at picking up the LA strippers working the floor as models. Buh bye losers!

E3 has two functions:

1) Landing/setting up deals between publishers and developers
2) Product unveilings with the console makers

Of course, Sony is the only one who had anything worthwhile to show this year's E3.

Nice since sony was one of the companies that had complained they would not take part in the OLD e3 because it was too big, cost them too much money...ect...and now that its smaller...its too small....righttttttt......

Edit: disagree all you want but what I said above is FACT they did complain just like microsoft that the old E3 *2005* was too big and was costing them too much money, the E3 commitee's radically changed it *its not like it used to be* and now sony is complaining its too small.

mighty_douche4013d ago giving a negative comment about Sony?!?! never thought id see that.

I said one of the big companies, then in a later post said the big companies *microsoft complained bout the size and cost of E3, so did sony, and i believe at one time nintnedo did too*

and its not a bad thing if its true and it is true Sony was just one of the companies that complained about E3 that it was too big and it cost them alot of money and they'd no longer take part, the creators of e3 and the current controllers radically changed E3, and now that they've changed e3 to what the big companies want it to be sony says its too small?

killed what E3 used to be...and now they dont wanna take part cause its too small for them.
