Nintendo 3DS eShop: Perfect for a Virtual Boy Resurrection (Modojo)

Chris Buffa (Modojo): Every video game company, no matter how successful, has at least one black eye.

For Nintendo, it's the Virtual Boy.

This ill-fated system, designed by Game Boy creator Gunpei Yokoi, made its U.S. debut in 1995 with the promise of true 3D gaming, similar to Nintendo's recently released 3DS.

Those red graphics give me a headache.

It would be a great idea if the give the games a facelift like they are doing with Zelda and Starfox!

GuruStarr783020d ago

Yeah, make thenm in color as well and they might actually sell!

meganick3020d ago (Edited 3020d ago )

They technically are in color, but I know what you mean.

Shnazzyone3020d ago

Ugh, forget that. I've played those games, they really arent worth remembering. Maybe Telro boxer.

meganick3020d ago

The Wario Land game was fun. Virtual Boy also had a fun pinball game.

Shnazzyone3020d ago

Ehhh, They would need a full update with color and such nd there just isn't enough reason to do that.

meganick3020d ago

An update wouldn't be necessary. Nintendo could just sell Virtual Boy games for like 2 or 3 bucks each.

All i know is I wouldn't buy those games ever again.
