Where You’ll Go, How You’ll Kill, and Who Will Die in Modern Warfare 3

Kotaku writes: "We've been gentle so far in our revealing of what we know about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. We've tip-toed through the minefield of spoilers, and tried to reveal only facts anyone would want to know. That ends here.

What follows is a detailed summary of what we understand are the events of Modern Warfare 3 described to us by those in possession of dozens of images from the game, as well as voice over recordings. While we haven't seen the game in action ourselves, we believe that the imagery and this plot description is accurate. That doesn't mean things can't change before release. Levels could be altered or completely cut before the game gets into your hands.

While we're still keeping some major, pivotal moments close to our chest—let's just say we know some things we wish we didn't know—we're about to lay the whole story out for you from beginning to end. Don't read on if you want to experience the narrative of Activision's bombshell shooter free from spoilers."

Wait what? If this is true then I'm happy to see they'll be finishing up the current story. Then I can play it and be done with COD for good lol ;).

This actually looks better than battlefield 3.

eh, im not sure about (well see) but i do like the modern warefare story line, all the action and the badass-ness, just wish it was longer, give me a 10 to 15 hour story and id be happy

The amount of rumours surrounding COD is getting ridiculous. Come on Activision announce the game already!

This story is insane if true. Also NYC really? We just had this in Crysis 2...

Wow, clichés. I will pass and go for Battlefield instead.

Errrg. This actually sounds nice.

Between trotting the globe in Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3, I'd say that one's shooter needs could be covered.

BUT! The difference here is that EA will NOT charge us (hopefully) 25% of the retail price of the game for DLC and Activision will.

Even if MW3 is the BEST GAME EVAR!!! I won't be conned easily into another Black Ops situation.
