XMNR: This Sunday marks the end of the Gears of War 3 beta but Epic Games has something else planned to mark the occasion.
Maybe it's just me but I am the only one who notices little hype around Gears of War 3? Yes I know its still a while before release.
Yeah, but Gears really doesn't need the hype, that game is so good that it basically sells itself now. I can't wait to get my hands on it!
Good point. I'm pretty excited to play it as well. With all the extra time they had on development there's no doubt its gonna be amazing.
You really like it? Hmm, I can't really get into it. I got the beta yesterday, its alright in my opinion. I always like to try out betas regardless of the game though, and leave feedback and whatnot. I never really enjoyed the games personally, but I respect the franchise. I noticed quite a few improvements over the previous games which is always nice to see. To me that means the developers care for their product.
Gears 3 is by far the best multi-player experience so far in the series. I like Halo and CoD, but Gears 3 is my favorite by far. Really looking forward to this games release. Only a few more days left of the beta. I will sorely miss it until September.
The announcement is probably that the game is ahead of schedule and the release date has been pushed up to July 20th.
note they never actually said the announcement was for Gears of War 3 like the title of this N4G article suggests.
I dunno why that irks me. I just get an image of an Epic Employee sat there smoking a cigarette, staring at a computer for god knows how long before finally sitting back in his chair, looking wearily over his mate, exhaling like he couldn't give a shit about life anymore and saying "Start the hype", hype for a goddamn announcement that won't even be that great anyway. New weapons an all that. Or better yet "DAY ONE DLC, FOR FREE I MIGHT ADD. £10 for the rest though..."
Gears of War: Exile announced as a downloadable $5 prequel?
