Hilarious Tribute to the Worst in Video Game Voice Acting | Default Prime

We’ve all heard some pretty horrendous voice acting in video games. Sometimes it’s groan-inducing, sometimes it’s irritating, and sometimes it’s unintentionally hilariously fantastic.

Well, Dean Lauderdale, a Canadian musician with a YouTube channel showing off his performances and tributes to Tenacious D, came across a video showcasing fifty of these horrible voice-acted moments himself. Apparently, he felt compelled to make a response to this video tribute which turned out pretty hilarious.

I’d have taken a few of those out. Prefer Sonic over Sonic 2. Outrun should be in there. Maybe even Pong as millions of people had fun with that even if it was repetitive. Final Fight pipped any Streets of Rage game, although Streets of Rage had the better soundtrack. Too many to list l guess. To me, retro gaming is the 1980s, maybe going into early 1990s.

Agree that the generational gap is too broad to really make a strong list. Need to tighten the years a bit. Hard to compare Pac Man with N64 games.

Resident Evil Director's Cut Turns 19 Years Old

Carl Williams writes, "When Capcom released the original Resident Evil onto the Sony Playstation console it was unique. Never before had gamers been presented with a 3D horror game like this before. No, I am not counting Alone in the Dark here as that was more of a 3D adventure game with monsters. Resident Evil was a 3D Action adventure with monsters. The difference being Capcom’s take on the genre was more visceral and “in your face” than Alone in the Dark ever was. Think of it like Pitfall versus Super Mario Bros. Both games were side scrolling action games but both are remembered for totally different reasons. Same thing with 3D horror games- one is still going strong and the other fell to the wayside years ago. Resident Evil Director’s Cut improves upon the original release, getting almost everything right."

Lol whenever I see that "Dualshock Edition" all I can think of is https://www.youtube.com/wat...
Its just so different to the original game's https://www.youtube.com/wat...
Most of the "alternate" music in the Dualshock Edition is just strange.

I'm still proud of the fact I own an original PS1 copy of this game. I do think the remake is far better, but this is still a great classic that I don't regret playing through to the end.
