This is gonna be a real good game, graphics is just crazy and even though it ain't got online it's a good game to get some hours of fun in. I've played the demo as soon as it came into the Gamestop and still been playing it. I will pick this game up as soon as it's available at the store.

The sixaxis controls for Warhawk are fantastic, and this guy is a major dip-thong for assuming that alleged not-so-good implementation in one game( Lair)=sixaxis controls will always suck. Finally, I cannot believe he says Ratchet is the ONLY great game for PS3 this fall (Uncharted says hi).

This is one of the many games I have wanted this autumn / winter. I have never known a season where I have wanted so many of the games.

I will get this game, if not before Christmas just after. This game will shift systems IMO.

Pre-ordered my copy.

At the moment I have:
- Transformers (Kids like it for some reason)
- Ratotouille (Not getting played much)
- Heavenly Sword (OK game. Wife likes it - the motion control bits)
- Warhawk (Great game - everyone plays it)
- Pirates of the Caribbean (Not getting played at all)
- Motorstorm (Great game - well - I like it)
- R:FOM (Great game)

But.. the kids keep on playing PS2 Spy vs Spy and R&C, Lego Star Wars. Well, Warhawk has become the most played game now, with the 11 yo boy owning us the whole time.

I will bet when R&C lands, it will take over from Warhawk in my house as the most played title. Until MGS4 or KZ2 that is.

HS was probably the best graphics so far.
Uncharted will probably shatter everything that's come out so far.
R&C will again blow everything.

and all this is happening in matter of 2-3 months. the barrage of amazing games (true next gen) that sony is bringing (and has brought so far) cannot be overtaken by any other console.

we, the gamers, should be thanking Sony for delivering games which we would have never seen or be proud to own.

Uncharted 'probably'. Right. Let it release first. I've heard that about Lair also, it looked good before its release and then... But I agree, Uncharted seems to be one of the few possible killer apps on the PS3

Ratchet & Clank, depends if you like a kiddy animal, kiddy colours. If you like a platform game its nice. I'd rather pick up my chainsawgun and get the opponent to splice in two.

We aren't touching 2008 for a long time, first great games in 2008 release when, may? June? September? November? That's at least 7 to max. 13 months away. I would focus on the next few months if I would have to choose a system to be able to play NOW

It's just a fact:

Wii - 7 games rated average over 80%
PS3 - 30 games rated over 80% average
360 - 70 games rated over 80%

Wii - 3 games rated over 90%
PS3 - 1 game rated over 90% average (Ratchet seems to be up with that)
360 - 10 games rated over 90% average

And yeah there are some fun games lower then 90% or 80%. But they're not all time classics/killer apps. Which shows in PS3 hardware sales.

the ps2 is just dying ou now.

sony was not ready to release ps3 in 2006. it was slated for 2007...... ps3 hardware build was finalized and q.c. set,( hence the ps3's reliability) but os was not complete when 360 launched.sony just counteracted ms early release.

ps3 was released prematurely, but what its accomplished is far more commendable than 360 but not wii. then again market entry price and a slew of factors tip the scale as far as priciong/capabilities.

I've been waiting forever for a game like this. I've played the demo over and over and it is so good. The gameplay is dead-on and the graphics are some of the most fluid that I've seen on a next-gen machine yet. They even found a good, non-gimmicky use for the Sixaxis functionality.

To everyone saying that one platform or the other is dead, you all should just stop it. It takes more than one title to make or break a console and so far the 360's head start means that it has more AAA titles. The PS3 is now starting to come into its own, and if this title is any indication of the future we're going to see more great things from the PS3.
