Could the new 007 be inspired by GoldenEye?

VGW: ..."this leads to the potential of the Wii being overlooked this time around, since Goldeneye is still a popular Wii release, and having the next 007 game being released for PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and the 3DS. Eurocom has not recently announced or revealed any serious projects this year, as can be seen on their official website, meaning they likely have something big under wraps for this year. And no, the Rio movie inspired video game doesn’t count. Confirming the speculation that Eurocom is involved is the fact that Bizarre Creations, the maker James Bond 007: Blood Stone, was closed in February. Handing over the next 007 game to a new developer would be risky in comparison to sticking with Eurocom, who already proved successful."

Well it is Activision so......NO

killyourfm3131d ago

Not sure I see your point - Activision published the Wii Goldeneye reboot.

MintBerryCrunch3131d ago

yea...reboot is not the word...they used daniel craig and a completely different story...not goldeneye, at least to me

They have not said they are skipping Project Cafe though. Even if they hide from the Wii.

because GoldenEye was good. They aren't focused on making good games. This generation, FPS devs are focusing on generic bullshit that resembled COD.

Forget Goldeneye 64 & trying to hold every new Bond game up to that...we've moved on from that. There is no excuse for them not to give us an awesome Bond experience as the source material spews out ideas for videogames. Shit, the movies are made for it. If they can make all these AAA COD games, then just use the same graphics engine, 60fps speed, & build bond inspired levels into it that allow use of his awesome array of gadgets. Hell, they could mix the game up with 1st person sections, 3rd person stealth based sections & then vehicle based sections. Black Ops had a snowmobile section in it, that had more Bond-esqueness in it, than any othe Bond game in the last 10 years.
Bond games, Indiana Jones games, Star Wars games, all seem to get screwed up 9.9 times out of 10.....they add lego to the fray & game becomes good...why cant they do a Indy game that doesnt involve little plastic bricks, that is great & doesn't suck.....It has every element to makeup a AAA game.....Hell, if Tomb Raider had of released all those years ago with Lara replaced with Indy's likeness & a name change to Indy Jones & the misplaced Golden Monkeys Ass, then it would have been a AAA Indy game.....So other developers are using materials from these licenses & making awesome IP's. So why cant the people that hold the license to said films do justice to the games inspired by them.
