The question to debate is whether security on mmo's and multiplayer games will be secure when PSN finally returns, and the answer is getting addressed but will it be enough?
Its a possibility
Tarnished or not tarnished. With this outage of PSN, the only people getting tarnished the most is Sony, they have become the laughing stock of the tech industry and a punchline to everyone's bad joke. Get PSN back online soon!
No, that would be the so called "Journalists" who are being tarnished.
sorry there. have call of duty games not had problems everywhere well before security issues??
Thanks S2580...Because I thought COD was tarnished when War at War came out. Since then it just went downhill.
Could you imagine that you log back onto PSN and then suddenly everybody's information for Call of Duty has been suddenly wiped? Oh you'd get some angry CoD fanboys.
The game has been broken on ps3 since day 1
I think the author intended to bring up that the security of multi-player games may be at stake overall, especially in regards to Bethedsa and similar titles, and if such has been compromised in regards to personal information, how are they battling that on PSN relaunch? Sounds like allot of fires to put out to me.
Most of bethesda's title are strictly offline, so what would it matter for those games?
What's CoD? After 4 honestly I say it went through an identity crisis; but there's this good game called Socom 4 that I found fun :D along with a bunch of other games
CoD games without any hacking it may be possible but then again i really dont care as long they dont mess around with my KZ3 MP.
When I read the title of this article the keywords "C.O.D Titles" made my hair stand up. I was hoping the were going to release another COD classic via dload, like (COD: United Offensive) for xbox live/psn and as I know the COD2 was a x360 exclusive I would love it if activision would make a port for the psn so both consoles would have ALL the COD's of the series. Sorry for going so far off topic but I wanted to mention this.
Untarnished? This game has been unplayable and broken on the PS3 since launch. I just care about getting PSN back. COD needs to die for a few years. Instead Activision keeps milking the franchise and consumers by releasing the same glitched and imbalanced game every year. No graphics upgrade, no dedicated servers or thorough beta testing with the same mediocre campaign... Yet the game is sold at a higher price along with its DLC. Bring back PSN but minus COD please.
