Making a bit of a leap from its better-known manic shoot ‘em ups, Japanese developer Cave this time brings us a platformer that is sure establish a small cult following much like its predecessor Deathsmiles. In recent years the trend has been to design platformers that combine engrossing stories and puzzles, but Cave sticks to what it does best: frantic, fast-paced, punishing gameplay that pays off once you get a good hang of it.
