Five Star Wars Games That Deserve A Reboot Or Re-Issue

Yes, it's Star Wars day and, after that thoroughly disappointing Blu-ray publicity crash-and-burn that had thousands being directed to the X-Men First Class trailer, it's time to stop whining about the unremarkable ews and start reminiscing about what made us love the series in the first place. Tom already put together a Star Wars top ten last year, but with the nature of such lists being all subjective and whatnot, I figured it might be a good idea to pick out five of the forgotten gems from the past couple of decades and highlight a handful of Star Wars games that could use a re-release or a reboot.'

I'd love to see a KOTOR 3, though it missed out on the list as it looks like SWTOR is looking to continue the legacy of those two games.

Would have loved to have seen a Free Radical/Pandemic Battlefront III, but alas...

But the biggest one is X-Wing/TIE Fighter...why the hell haven't we seen a re-release?! Genuinely think that LucasArts completely lost the plot.

and jedi academy was awesome too even if they did an HD remake of it id be happy

and a sequel to Republic Commando

bring battlefront 3, but i have a interesting thought, why not lucasarts make a "Battlefront Collection" much like the god of war collection that adds battlefront 1 and 2 with updated graphics, trophy/achievement support and online play, but also include a DEMO of battlefront 3, that will sell like hot cakes and will give star wars fans a little taste of what is to come and also to fill our battlefront thirst with the first games with online play, i would totally buy it

X-wing vs Tie Fighter deserves 1st place...............

X-wing/TIE fighter should be the first out of the box if primarily because it would most likely cost far less to make a really nice looking version than Battlefront 3. Unfortunately unless LA either gives up the SW license to another bigger publisher or merges with one, its unlikely they will put out anything more than the SW lego games. They seem to be lacking much money currently.

At least I hope that is the case. Could be just as likely they are all a bunch of morons who aren't even aware of these older games. Call me an optimist.
