Rockstar not trying to make “interactive movies,” but “video games that are cinematic”

good, i love cinematic games, like uncharted 2 and god of war 3 for example and even red dead redmeption.

and yes rockstar's statement is very good because i agree that games should stay as games because its something you are supposed to play

nothing wrong with that as long as it's a game first. rdr was a great story but a little too easy of a game

SilverSlug2724d ago

IT was easy, but did you have fun?

yea it it was fun gameplay-wise and i enjoyed the story but the challenge is what makes a game a game. i have fun swimming but that doesnt make it a game. without a challenge it's just an interactive movie

I can't afford this for while....stamps feet *sulks*

Cheers but I like to buy my games...

Just bought mass effect 2 and dragon age 2 on sale(went a little bioware crazy).

Should see me thru till I save up enough.

I wouldn't even really call it a "game." It's more like Interactive Cinematic Entertainment. If anything, Heavy Rain was a little too much like an interactive movie for my tastes. Still good though.
