from the feature list i doubt it will be cheap, i think it might be as high as £250-300 at launch based on the 3DS prices

The 3DS is on amazon at £180 with an RRP of £230 and the NGP looks to be a bit more advanced. Thats why I though £250-300.

People judge too quickly on price alone and barely even consider the specification, or what you're getting for your money.

£250 for a brand new handheld, particularly as advanced as the NGP, is ideal. £300 is pushing it, but I think it will probably be around the £250 mark.

Remember though, NGP was said to be distributed as multiple SKUs. I reckon the base model will be ~£250, and a more advanced SKU: ~£300+.

3DS is reasonable, but NGP have an outstanding hardware, blows 3DS out of the water. Any person with knowledge about Hardware know this.

Cheap is not suitable with that.

I expect $300 to $400.

Hasn't every developer already chimed in with their five cents worth and claimed it's a 'dream' to develop for?

Apparently porting over engines took days instead of weeks etc.

Sony has already said it is Android based. Therefore that opens to door to all developers because Android is notoriously cheap and easy to program for. There will be big budget and small budget games. This device has appeal to literally every single developer out there. Not to mention Sony asked the developers what they wanted to see in this thing and they took the feed back and gave them the NGP. I guarantee you that one of the main things developers said was they wanted a cheap platform to develop for. I'll wait until official statements come out, but I would bet a $1000 you are dead wrong.

no you're not educated. you would know that this system is more than just graphics, just by reading up what hardware it has on board. NGP, has simply, the most universal approach to Handheld Gaming ever.

Not only is it simple to develop for, you can make pretty much, any game you want, whether, with the touch screen/touch pad on the back/second analog stick/ accelerometers, or a combination of everything.

Graphics are the main focus, simply because Sony created a portable that is on par with today's current Gen console Hardware.

The devs make the good games and they have a large dose of those this time around. Also development for this device is said to be easier than developing for the 360 itself so...you figure.

The parts inside this device maybe advance but not alien to the public which further backs up the easy to develop claims the devs themselves are making.

And in addition to all this is the fact that it has a bag of inputs ready for the devs to play with.

This device will be something special and i for one cant wait for e3 to get here already. Just cant get enough of this platform,Sony out did themselves this time around.

Lets at least give them some credit for their effort.
