CVG - In part one of our Operation Flashpoint Red River interview we talked to creative director Sion Lenton about competition from Call of Duty, the state of the shooter genre and the multi-year Operation Flashpoint plan.
In part two we discuss whether the pre-owned market is a problem, formulaic games, the current generation of hardware and the future of the Operation Flashpoint series.
Green Man Gaming are yet again offering more than just a sale with a breadth of bundles to take your breath away! They released two games bundles featuring Codemasters and Digital Tribes. Also discounted are Thief, Thief : Master Thief Edition, Bioshock Infinite and Murdered Soul Suspect at 75% off.
Some mediocre - crap games there. Couldn't even include any Codemasters racing games? It's the only thing they're good at.
Even though it's still technically a good deal, the whole $5 or £4 thing annoys me. Humble bundle doesn't do this. No thanks.
You can pay what you want for Overlord, its Raising Hell DLC, Operation Flashpoint: Red River, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, and Rise of the Argonauts. Paying $6 or more gets you Overlord II, DiRT Showdown, and DiRT 3.
Mobile & Apps: "One of the most underrated shooters of the previous generation was Operating Flashpoint: Red River for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. With all its problems, I believe this is a game that is worth playing, however, it is not too hard to see why the game didn't quite kick off, as it should have."
Loved this game, it was dumbed down from Dragon Rising but still an enjoyable game. Was still offputting to people looking for instant/non stop action
Ha! Some colleagues and I are actually planning on hitting this one up tonight. Great game.
The game is great in some aspects. In others not good like Friendly AI, but the game is fun, tactical shooter and not so buggy or glitchy like Dragon Rising.
I hope the Devs release a Map Editor like Dragon Rising on PC.
