Shadowlocked - When one great hero comes along, another will follow. Pele had Maradona,Batman had Superman, Lassie had Babe, and, most importantly, Mega Shark had Giant Octopus. The gaming world, rife with competition, is no different. So, without further ado, here are the top gaming rivalries that people will debate to the end of time.
MW 2019 is five years old at this point and on previous gen hardware, but it is still the best looking Call of Duty game to date.
MW was an excellent videogame. They messed up Spec Ops big time, but aside from this it was a huge step in the right direction initially. Most notably, at launch it seemed to come from a very cohesive creative vision that was felt across gameplay, to story to art style/visual direction. It was also very notably written by prominent ex-Naughty Dog guys that quit almost immediately before release.
That COMPLETELY dissolved through post-launch content and the full pivot to a "cross-mode" narrative that completely obliterated the cohesion in overall story direction. Warzone then "became" the new face of Call of Duty and the franchise completely removed itself from anything remotely creatively "good". It is a pure money machine, so I kinda get why they're doing it....but I personally completely lost interest.
I would love to see Infinity Ward move off CoD and get to make their own product with full control. They clearly have some massive talent in their ranks but it's perverted by Activision's corporate interests.
Cultured Vultures: If you’ve got some feelings you want to dredge up all over again, or if spending more than 15 minutes on Twitter has caused you to become completely numb, these are the saddest video game moments that we will never forget.
Kingdom hearts was really sad at the end. The darkness when Jenny dies was shocking and sad
Mine have to be last of us, Joel's daughter. Maybe it hits different when you have kids vs bot. I'll throw ff7 up there to. On the verge of looking like some sort of love triangle then bam, death
I think Dom's wife's death in Gears 2 was sadder then Dom. Dom's death in Gears 3 just felt rushed.
For many, the game became the sound of the 90s – but Josh Mancell tells us how the music for PlayStation’s first mascot game originated in Kraft cheese and Kraftwerk
MOH vs. COD r u serious?....i dont even like COD and i still would rather pick COD....MOH was horrible but worth it for the BF3 beta and nothing else
Since when has there been a rivalry between GT and Burnout? or MGS and Assassin's Creed? O_o
Lol, whoever wrote this is absolutely clueless. MGS vs AC? and MOH vs COD? I mean, seriously.
MOH hasnt been good since what...2001?
LOL! Train simulator vs coach simulator. Anybody who spends money on these games needs to get checked out
I would think Splinter cell would be a better rival choice than AC
