Something about conquering a list of moves and unlocking characters while playing through a fragmented storyline has always appealed to me. Alas, I tend to appreciate the Mortal Kombat fighting games because of simpler combos and a sense of forgiveness and more control. Aksys Games has announced a western release window for Mon-Yu, the Experience-developed dungeon RPG. Mon-Yu is coming west sometime in fall 2023 for Windows PC and Nintendo Switch.

I don't think it's real, but it would make sense. Sony did just bought Evo and they have no fighting game of their own yet. Plus they own funimation and crunchyroll, so it would be pretty easy to convince some of those anime to let them make a fighting game along with kodagawa that they are in partnership with to "share ideas and IP".
