I think he might be talking about the initial connecting screen before you could actually start playing. That was my only issue anyway, I never experienced lag or even a disconnection while playing though.

No not Lag, I never experienced that or any issue in a game, I mean the 10min wait to get into a game, im assuming thats to do with dedicated servers?

^ Usually you don't have to wait with dedicated servers.

You just look through the server list, pick one you like, and you're off to the races.
Whereas with P2P, you have to sit around to get a match made.

I don't think UC2 had dedicated servers though. So your issue might be related to something else?

It took about 10mins just to get online. Then when you finally got online there were at times some noticeable lag issues. Still worth it for the fun co-op.

Personally for you that may be true. Meanwhile I did experience quite a long initial wait and some lag, but that's mostly (if not all) due to latency. I wish it had a big following so that I could get some local games, was fun multiplayer

I dunno.. Looking at the scope of UC3 MP modes it seemed like the better option to go with ded servers.

Peer 2 peer is disappointing. Sony often use dedicated servers and this is surely one of their biggest games this year.

Wow im surprised seeing as this is probably PS3s biggest game. Although UC2 didnt use dedicated servers and I never had a problem with it so if they can replicate that on UC3 then by all means go ahead.
