Only Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition For Xbox 360 Has A Monster Hunter Bonus

In Japan, there’s an incentive for Monster Hunter fans to get Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition on Xbox 360. This version of the game includes download codes for Ryu and Chun-Li costumes.

The codes go live as soon as Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, the retail version, launches in Japan on June 30 and expire on September 26, 2012. Capcom specifically says the PS3 version will not include Monster Hunter Frontier codes and no comparable promotion has been announced.

Weird because Xbox barely sells in Japan =\

wwm0nkey4907d ago

Yes but MHF is a 360 game. Actually MHF pushed a decent amount of 360's when it was released over there.

Infernostew4907d ago

Not really. Had a 1 week software boost and I don't think the 360 sold over 5k units that week, I think. I remember thinking that it would be a bigger impact than it turned out to be.

And only crazy ridiculous people will buy the 3rd version of street fighter 4!!!

jetlian4907d ago

dlc for super and super only cost 40 so its less than a full 60 dollar game

Army

Those that own Super can get the AE upgrades as DLC for 15 bucks. That's not too bad.

Optical_Matrix4907d ago

Only the 360 gets it?...well yeah...considering Monster Hunter Frontier is a 360 game...not a PS3 game..

wwm0nkey4907d ago

Damnit I want Monster Hunter Frontier in NA already D:

I have needed this is my life since the original Mortal Kombat

Actually, the article is pretty good (IMHO) although I personally have never really liked pure fighting games. I do however like the Souls and Bloodborne series and am quite reasonable playing them although I could "git bttr". 😉

I swear by Injustice being the most accessible fighting game out there. Play Injustice!

JackGash3010d ago

Injustice is a very accessible fighting game, It takes the mechanics of MK9 and expands on them in interesting ways. I would say Injustice and Mortal Kombat are among the more accessible.

10 Legendary Video Game Myths That Fooled Us All

Maybe these myths are a way of injecting some mystery and fascination into games that we’ve become so familiar with.
