Hands-On Preview: Mortal Kombat - Electronic Theatre

Mortal Kombat plays incredibly similarly to Mortal Kombat 3, using the same basic set-up and visual feedback. Incredibly fluid combos are praised by the combo counter which offers a tally both the number of hits landed and the percentage of damage done. Special Moves are viable as both one-hit attacks and as mid-combo connection attacks or finishers, and air juggles are just a lucrative as would be expected. To suggest at this point that Mortal Kombat is a return to the glory days of the high-stakes 2D competition may be going a bit far, but it’s fair to say that the signs are never less than positive.

I just wonder. Just wonder. With todays technology, how would it been if they made real life characters like the first MK`s?
