Dualshock Nexus: " Roje Smith answers community questions about the multiplayer for Red Faction: Armageddon."
Really sucks that they cut competitive multiplayer out of this Red Faction. Through the whole history of the IP the competitive multiplayer has seen much more of my time than the campaigns. Red Faction Guerrilla had a very underrated multiplayer. I was set to pick this up at full retail but I will wait for a price drop now. Without that competitive element the game just won't be as worth it to me. I really don't need another horde mode in a game, so many have them already.
You're right I found the campaign for RFG to be kind of dull, but the multiplayer on the other hand was fantastic. The only thing that sucked was trying to get in a room and getting booted a bunch of time if people weren't coming to the game lobby.
I played RF:Guerilla's multiplayer for the first time tonight which is way underated. The different packs you put on that give you abilities is awesome. The single player is somewhat bland but I will certainly be keeping Guerilla. The new game just doesnt do it for me though.
