Really liking these multiplayer modes, guess I should start looking into this game some more.

BattleAxe5181d ago

The co-op should be good, but the graphics look dated.

I don't understand how Day:One managed to make F.E.A.R 3 graphically dissapointing considering it's predecessor, F.E.A.R 2, was absolutely stunning. Whilst the gameplay looks decent enough, I find it frustrating that they have taken the franchises beauty and twisted it into looking some-what last-gen...

I dunno I wouldn't call FEAR 2 a stunning game compared to how FEAR 1 looked when it was released. FEAR 2 didn't look very eye catching. FEAR 3 looks a bit better but sadly FEAR 2 doesn't hold a candle to FEAR1 and FEAR 3 looks the same.

HellzAssassin5180d ago

I agree with Fossilfern. And to be quite honest, FEAR 2 did NOT look that good, and the graphics were terrbibly dated. Nonetheless, it was an incredible game and I actually enjoyed it. The original FEAR was incredible for it's time, graphic-wise.

I played the demo for FEAR 2 on the PS3 and I wasn't overly impressed with the graphics, but I bought FEAR 2 during a Steam sale, and the graphics were absolutely fantastic. I was very surprised. Although I thought that FEAR 1 was better in terms of it be a scarier game, FEAR 2 looks way better in the graphics department, although it didn't have the same impressive particle effects as the first one did.

Kingdom Come5180d ago

I like the look of "F***ing Run", and the Cooperative Campaign. Whilst the graphics come as somewhat a dissapointment, considering F.E.A.R 2's beautiful visuals, the gameplay looks interesting and although usually I don't allow reviews to sway my decision or opinion on whether to buy a game, with this particular title, it may just do so...

I played Ehrgeiz for months and I still say the name wrong.

DiscoKid3414d ago

Even though the announcer says the title?

Jackhass3414d ago

I'm still not sure how I'm supposed to say Disgaea.

DarkOcelet3414d ago

I think its pronounced Dis-Ga-Ya.

ThePsychoGamer3413d ago (Edited 3413d ago )

Pretty sure it more Dis-Guy-ya.

I remember reading an interview with some one who worked on the series since the beginning, and according to him, when they named the series they wanted something that sounded anti-earth, so they came up with Dis using american slang and Gaia, the greek word for earth.

ZaWarudo3414d ago

Deus Ex - They Use X

Ehrgeiz - Ear gease?

Disgaea - This guy ya

Cthulhu - Coo thoo loo

Atelier - Ah teh liar?

DiscoKid3414d ago

Atelier = attle yay
Deus Ex - Dayis X
Ehrgeiz = er-gayz

Disembodied Voices Episode 28: Zachary’s Ascension to Hosthood

TheDVcast.com writes: "Do you love Zachary and hate Stephen? Then holy hand grenades are you in for a treat! Stephen is out of the hosting seat due to a bad case of imploded hard drive, so Zachary takes up the heavy burden of keeping Bryan and Cameron in line. Mass Effect 2, Assassin’s Creed, and Fthreeear (or F3AR if you hate pronouncing things rightly) are included in Games We Have Been Playing As of Late, during which a plethora of fascinating topics can only be touched upon in the already-lengthy segment. Bring Your Own Topic faces the DV cast with a quandary related to stupidly obvious tutorials, which teaches us that one should always flee from the police. An edition of Games to End All Games wants to know what the greatest sports game ever created is; the answer is Sonic Riders. Lastly, this week’s lineup of new released is relayed with the fiery passion of a raging giraffe. So buckle your seat belts and download Disembodied Voices Episode 28 (NOT Episode 29, despite the absurd statements of the panel)!"
