Gamespot Interview: By Design: Half Life 2 'The Orange Box'

Half-Life 2: The Orange Box is a heck of a packing job. Combining one of the most essential and engrossing single-player campaigns of all time, stylish and unorthodox online content, and a totally unique space-bending puzzle, it asks one price for three elements lesser studios might've been happy to let stand on their own. It's quite an achievement, but it wouldn't have been possible without the members of three distinctly talented teams. So Gamespot thought they would introduce them and see if they can tell us what went into The Orange Box, aside from so many great hours of gameplay.

I've play'd trough hl2:Episode 2 about 5 to 6 hours it was a great game, but the badest ending ever!Plus too short in my opinion.

CS could work on a console. Just get A PS3. Keyboard and mouse...and there is your speed and accuracy of a PC FPS ^_^.

Offer over XBL for downloadable content

- HL2 "DeathMatch"
- Counter Strike Source

I have HL2 on my PC as well and those two items Valve offers are KILLER ADD-ONS

I love TF2, but straight up one on one death match with HL2 is AWSOME as well. And CS, well, that is a religion in itself.

..would never work on a console, its all about speed and accuracy that can only be offered by the mouse. plus console gamers wouldnt like the 1 hit kills or lack of 'energy shield' type thingy.

According to that, every FPS on a console should be crappy since we can't use Mouse and keyboard ... and that is not true. TF2 is also pretty fast pace and I am having a blast with it on a console ... on a controller.

If we are all running it on a console, all using controller, then the control is fair across the board.

Counterstrike on the XBOX had great control with a paddle. And yes, I use to be a whore with CS on the PC.
