Massively: Howdy folks, and welcome back to another installment of The Anvil of Crom. This week I'll be taking a short break from reporting on my CMA activities. I took a bit of an impromptu vacation last week and as a result didn't get to play Oakarm much at all. He's still hanging out in his mid-30s, looking for dungeon groups, and training me on those pesky melee combos, so look for more on that tangent in the weeks to come.
Believe it or not, the MMORPG Age of Conan has been around for 12 years now. Now free-to-play and rebranded as Unchained, Funcom has released one of the largest updates in years.
Man, this game was SO good when it first came out. Then they came out with that graphics overhaul and it ruined everything.
The Saga of Zath server, a unique limited-time Age of Conan progression server, will challenge players to achieve milestones for unique rewards.
Funcom has announced that Knut Avenstroup Haugen, the award-winning composer behind the Age of Conan soundtrack, is on board and will be producing new music for their upcoming game featuring the famous barbarian, Conan Exiles. AoC's soundtrack is certainly in top 3 of all the games I've played.
