HD Video Review of Fortress Craft for the Xbox 360. Fortress Craft is an independently developed and produced game about construction, survival and destruction. Explore vast domains and mould them in your image. Construct your own world from the materials around and defend it against would be attackers.
"FortressCraft: Evolved is now available on Steam for $5.99, game publisher Digital Tribe Games announced today via a press release obtained by Examiner.
With a series of gameplay improvements including TwitchTV integration and Build2Me, an interesting building feature that allows you to guide your cursor to and from a specific point you’d like to build, “FortressCraft: Evolved” appears to be a vast improvement over its 2011 indie hit predecessor."
"FortressCraft Evolved will be hitting Steam’s Early Access in December 2013. The original FortressCraft was released on the Xbox 360 in 2011 and became one of the best-selling Xbox downloadable games of all time. The newest version - FortressCraft Evolved - has been recreated from the ground up in Unity to produce a new, more powerful experience in creative world building. Having learned much from their Xbox Live Indie Game success, the developers at ProjectorGames are busy building excitement among the community who are creatively sharing their constructions with wild enthusiasm."
The game was pretty lame. I think the PC is far too saturated with quality voxel world building games for this to really go anywhere.
They may have a market for those who literally will buy nothing unless it releases on Steam though.
"DjArcas, the head of Projector Games and developer of Xbox Live Indie Game hit FortressCraft: Chapter 1 has confirmed that the sequel to FortressCraft, working title FortressCraft: Unity, will be released on Steam later this year."
Can't wait, really been looking forward to a super powered FortressCraft version
The creator would also like to do XBO and PS4 versions. Just depends how things go.
This game makes me realize how much I love MineCraft.
This game flopped hard.
Thing is no matter how this reviews, weather or not it gets updated and fixed, its already making sales and making money.
Besides, do XBLI titles get updated?
no where does it mention 1.5/10 in the video or the link to the original article. In fact the review is fairly positive.
This article got approved 22 minutes after it was submitted, how did this get approved when the score of 1.5/10 is not in the video or the link.
The game is not a flop, it sold 30,000 copies making it one of the best selling xbox live indie games.

the makers have made enough money to make chapter 2.
i understand that some folks see this as a minecraft ripoff and hope it fails, but that shouldnt make it ok to make up review scores when the original article had no such score.
The score and commentary do not seem to go together here. Perhaps go back for another review in a month...if they truly sold 30k units they have some more money to drive development.
