Virtua Fighter 5 demo now available on Xbox Live Marketplace

Major Nelson just updated his blog with the message that a playable demo of Virtua Fighter 5 has arrived on Xbox Live Marketplace worldwide. The game has been available on Playstation 3 since launch but SEGA decided to bring the game on Xbox 360 as well, as the sales of the Playstation 3 version disappointed. The Xbox 360 version now even features online multiplayer!

The demo weighs almost 700MB and is available for free. The full version of the game is slated to ship on October 30.

I didn't get a chance to play the PS3 version. Nevertheless, as a VF4E fan I have to say that I'm very impressed by what SEGA did with this game. It looks simply amazing. Although I'd rather have a Demo with the Training mode rather than a 3-enemy arcade mode :(
