Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 Remix is filled with beloved games that many people have nostalgic memories of. What exactly gives 100% completing a game value, though? If you come away from it not feeling accomplished, was it just wasted time?

Fun game but, wow, you need a college degree to understand the controls.
A remaster would also save you from having to constantly fight the camera.
Keep the music though. Those drum and bass tracks fit really well and haven't aged. Made me think that more games could work well with drum and bass tracks, but unfortunately it's a somewhat niche genre now.
i could have sworn i read somewhere that Remedy is remaking May Payne 1 but things have been quiet lately

I don't agree with Resistance 2, because a lot of people trash it. It really isn't even appreciated at times. I enjoyed it, but thats just me.

Bioshock 2 is indeed nothing special. It was good in all the same ways as the first, they just made it because they could and it would bring in some cash - and the multiplayer was dire bad.
Resistance 2 is just an fps, which isn't really a problem. I think the main reason it is talked about so much is because it is one of the few decent ones on the PS3, which really deserves a lot more exclusive fps games - the high concept was interesting too and there was good humour in the promotional posters etc.
Angry birds just took an already existing game idea and somehow it took off massively, a good example of a game that is over-appreciated. Appreciated may not be the right term though, it's just mass appreciated by people who don't know what actual good games are.
Black ops is just another bad, buggy CoD reskin game - everybody knows that :P Certainly over-appreciated.
The Sims however, is awesome. Why? Because it is fun, or was fun for a while when you first discovered it (like most decent games). I personally loved making awesome houses :D
